9 Month Stats

I promised in my last post that I would let you all know his stats.
Here goes nothing.

His rather big head measures in at 18.6 inches, which is in the 94th %. Thank goodness his head has only grown a 1/2 inch in the last 3 months. My other 2 didn't have near as big of a head!

He is 29.53 inches in length, which sits at 87%-he seems taller than that.

Last, but not least, he weighs in at.................26.63 pounds! Oh my! Of course this is over the 99%. We were told that they don't put kids his age on diets, but to really watch what he eats-and make sure he is active. Well, the kid eats well, but not 24/7. He also army crawls all over the house all the time. He loves to stand and bounce. What else am I suppose to do?!!!

I'm not worried about him. He is happy and healthy and we love him to pieces!!!

My Baby Turns 9 Months

Well, today Zander turns 9 months old. I can't believe how it has flown by. He is such a cute, squishy, lovey, Mama's BIG boy! He is meeting his milestones everyday. He just cut his 3rd tooth and is ready to cut the 4th anytime. He is army crawling all over the place. He is eating us out of house and home already (oh boy are we in trouble with this one)-he eats a whole waffle at breakfast (Zoey eats this much) plus a bottle and treats. He is up to eating whole jars of stage 3 baby foods-he loves his fruits. He is the cleanest kid I have ever seen eat one of those biter bisquits (I guess he doesn't want to waste any). He is in to at least 18 month clothing and some 24 month. We are NO WHERE close to walking-of course the one I want to walk so I don't have to pack him is the one that will take forever! He has the cutest grin EVER. He closes his eyes and pulls a cheeser with his 2 bottom teeth showing and makes a hissing sound-SOOOO cute!!! And, he LOVES being in the playroom with his sissies. He follows me around the house crawling under my feet and kicking his arms and legs straight out-this is my hint to pick him up. I love you BUBBA!!!

I also have to report that Zoey just turned 23 months a few days ago. In one short month she will be 2. She is my sassy child and tantrum thrower. If she is mad she stomps around and then throws herself on her butt. Then she gets up, grabs whatever is closest, and chucks it. It is aggravating to see her do this, but somedays it is darn right HILARIOUS because she gets angry at the most ridiculous things. Her and Maizy are best friends, and also worst enemies. They are so cute to watch play when they are getting along. Zoey looks up to Maizy and wants to do everything that she does. I hope they grow up to be the best of friends.

I will post a picture of Zander and his stats when he has his MD appt later this week.

SERIOUSLY!!!

So, if you have ever wondered why most of my pictures include 1, maybe 2 children, but rarely all 3, the following pictures are a good explanation. I was trying to get a good picture of all 3 for a project, but of course I was dreaming. Maybe one day!!!

Preschool Graduation

Last night, Maizy graduated from preschool. It was such a cute program. I think Maizy enjoyed being the Baker. She even remembered her line!! I am so proud to be Maizy's mom. She is such an adventurous girl. She keeps us on our toes, but she is also a very lovey girl as well. She is extremely smart, especially for only being 4 years old. She has grown so much in the last year. I love you Maiz!!!

First Zoo Trip of the Year

Wednesday afternoon, the whole family met up with Jami and Anna, and Mandy and Evelynn to go to the zoo. It was a beautiful day. Not too hot and not too cold.

The kids enjoyed seeing all the animals, although Zander enjoyed taking off Zoey's hat even more.

One good thing about it is that it had Zoey saying things. When we showed her the monkeys, she said monkey. When we said giraffe, she tried to say giraffe. For those of you who are wondering why this is such a big deal...Zoey doesn't say much, especially if she is asked to. The only word she says on a regular basis is Uh-uh...meaning NO!!!

Maizy and Zoey especially loved the playground there, but what kid doesn't?!?
All is all, it was a great afternoon-despite the fact that I was running on about 2 hours of sleep!!!

Opinions needed

Maizy has an up and coming Preschool play, and she is assigned the role of "Baker". I wasn't quite sure how to make a Baker's hat, but think this turned out pretty cute. What do you think???

Gymnastic Nationals

Mandy's baby Evelynn, Zander, and Jami's baby Anna

Sorry Jami and Michelle, but this is a repeat.

Last Tuesday, Mandy, Jami and myself headed East in the good 'ol minivan (with our 3 babies) to watch the Utes in the NCAA National Gymnastics meet. We traveled through the night so the babies could sleep the majority of the trip. Luckily we were able to check into our hotel early so we could rest after a very long night. We welcomed Wendy and Michelle (with her baby), who flew, later Wednesday night. After enjoying a fabulous steak dinner and a severely needed nights worth of sleep, it was the long 2 meet Thursday. The afternoon wasn't stressful as Utah did not compete. The evening session, however, gave us all heart attacks as Utah tried really hard to not make it to the super six on Friday. After 2 falls on beam, they tied with UCLA for the 3rd spot to continue on. Luckily the tie breaker went our way.

Here are all of us at the meet. Michelle and Brylee, me and Zander, Jami and Anna, Mandy and Evelynn and Wendy

Here are the 4 babes attempting to stay on the seats by themselves.

Friday we decided to have a relaxing morning and took the babies swimming.

After the LONG process to get ready with all the babies, we took them to the Utah fan party, where the babies, all in front packs, were a hit. I have never been popular and usually try to stay out of the lime light, but everyone wanted pictures and thought it was the cutest thing ever.

Me and my Bubba at one of the restaurants.

Here is Wendy holding Zander at the meet.
I have to sent out a huge thanks to Wendy for being a great friend and extra set of hands for us. She was very brave to want to take a trip with 4 moms and their babies.

The Utes did okay Friday night, but could have done better. I won't get on my soap box about Georgia. Utah ended up taking 3rd, which I guess we can't complain about 3rd in the nation.
Saturday we did a little shopping and then enjoying the individual competitions that night.
Sunday was the longest day of my life! 14 hours in the van, with all 3 babies now during awake time. They did pretty good considering.
We are home and we all survived.
