Happy Halloween

What a busy and eventful, but fun day! Glad to be home relaxing. It started off with Maizy having a Primary party this morning. She had a blast.
After lunch, we headed to Casey's dad's house for an early visit (his party didn't start until later, but we had a prior engagement). They had yummy soups and cookies for everyone. Jill had also made all of the Grandkids a trick-or-treat bad. They were so cute! Thanks Jill.

After visiting for a while, we were off to Cindy's house. Cindy is always a fabulous host. Her house was decorated so cute and of course food to feed an army. Thanks Mandy for the fabulous chili. Thanks Jami for bringing drinks and dry ice to make it spooky. Thanks Cindy for making "mummy" dogs for all the kids. What can I say...I have a great group of friends!

All the kids were dressed so cute. I have to admit that I am a lazy mom. My kids costumes were all bought. Every one of my friends either made their kids outfits, or at least added something crafty to it. Okay my 3 Martha Stewarts...share the talent!!!

I will start with my 3 monsters. Even though I bought all of their costumes, I was pretty pleased with them.

Maizy discovered that she loves Princesses this year and HAD to be one for Halloween. She LOVES this dress! The minute she put it on she was carefully lifting up the front of the skirt just as the Princesses do and was dancing all over the place. So cute!

Zoey chose from 2 costumes and this was her pick. I am proud of her. The picture really doesn't do this costume justice. It was freakin' adorable!!! She can be my BatGirl anytime!

The skeleton costume that Zander is wearing is a 2T...and it barely (very snug) fit my 13 month old. Very sad! He looked so cute and surprisingly wore the mask a lot.

Okay, remember the comment about Martha Stewart? Here is MS #1. This is Mandy's little girl Evelynn. Her tutu and wings were bought at Swiss Days (I was there), but the cute bows that have antenna's attached to them were made by Mandy herself. What??? So freakin' cute!

MS #2...This is Jami's little girl Anna. The entire costume minus the tights was made by Jami. She even talked about having to get the pumpkin face on the shirt last night when she was at work. How adorable can it be?

MS #3...This is Cindy's daughter Campbell. Cindy made the witch dress that she is wearing. Cindy is also the girl who bakes and decorates all her kids cakes.
See what I mean?!?

This is Cindy's son Max. What a cute spiderman!

The following 2 pictures include most of the kids that came to the party.
Thanks for being a great host Cindy!

Fall Fun

My kids absolutely LOVE being outside; even more so when my parents are out there. They were out raking up leaves, so of course my girls had to go out and help. My parents are great with the kids. They spoil them rotten (which is bad), but I am glad they have a great relationship with them.
Here the girls took over the equipment and are "helping".

Zander also loves being with my parents. Even though he is a momma's boy, he still loves to have his Grandma time.

Zoey all of a sudden just plopped down in the middle of the pile and started to cover herself up with the leaves, so Maizy helped her out.

Zoey also loves to rider her bike. We are trying to teach her to ride a 2 wheeler with training wheels, but she always freaks out until she gets her 3 wheeler.

No matter how many times we told Maizy that the lawn mower is dangerous, she still would go out in front and then run away. My dad was careful, but of course he played into a little for Maizy's sake.

Zander is turning into a little stinker. He is so curious about things. He found this hole in the concrete and had to stick his finger in...YUCK!

I love that my kids like being outdoors.

Pictures

If you are a friend of mine on facebook, you may have seen these before. If not, here you go.
We were finally able to get the kids in to get their annual pictures. Pretty sad since Maizy hasn't even had her 4 year pictures and her birthday was in January. As you can tell by the scowl and red face, Zoey was not a trooper. Oh wait...she never is. She is my struggle in life at the current moment in time. I can't wait until she grows out of this, whatever it is!

I bought this frame at Swiss Days this year specifically for my kids pictures. I am pretty happy with my purchase and the pictures of my beautiful kids just finish it off perfectly.

Zander was so happy that day. The camera girls were getting a kick out of him. He was laughing and smiling up a storm. What a cutie! This is his official 1 year old picture.

Maizy was fabulous! She is turning into such a wonderful girl. She still has her moments, but at least she is starting to understand and listens. This is her official 4 year old picture even though she will be 5 in just 4 short months.

Here is my pill Zoey. This was the ONLY picture of even a glimpse of a smile so of course I had to get it. This is her official 2 year old picture although she turned 2 back in July.

These were just taken yesterday (October 8th). The Wilde side had family pictures last night and bbbbrrrrrr....was it cold!!!
Jami made the cutest flower bows ever for my girls. They both held pretty still for me to do their hair. The question is...did they cooperate with pictures? Maizy...yes, Zoey...not really, Zander...somewhat. I guess we will see what the results were in a little over a week.

It was so cold outside. All of us had bright red noses. We were huddling in a few coats between pictures. I guess for how cold it was, the kids were actually pretty good.

I know I say it all the time that I can't wait for my kids to get older so they get out of their current stages, but I also know that when they do get older, I will look back and miss where they are now. I love my kids to pieces and am trying to be better about treasuring the moments they are in now. Love my babies!!!
